Barney the Dinosaur free graph
Barney the dinosaur was very popular when my nephew was growing up. Something about that goofy bright purple tyranosaurus captured kids attention. And that song (You know the one!)...what can I say about that song? It certainly sticks to a person.
To make this afghan, use an H hook and 2 dc per graph square. This means you'll double the number of graph squares along the edge where you'll begin and add one more for turning (either 90 x 2 = 180 + 1 = 181 or 120 x 2 = 240 + 1 = 241) and start your dc in the 3rd chain from the hook. DC in each chain to the end, and that is your first row of graph squares. Go to kendrascrochetedcreations.com to save or print the graph to make your own.
If you want me to make you one, I can do that too! Email me at kendrascrochet@gmail.com for prices.

Army logo graph
I've been having issues with my computer for a while now. I think that my wonderful tech support has fixed it as well as it can be fixed. That said, a lot of my graphs have disappeared since the crash. This U.S. Army logo graph is one of them. I just redid this one and I'm telling myself it's better than the old one. I'm too smart for that though so please let me know what you think!
This graph is meant to be worked with an H hook using 2 dc per graph square in a Worsted Weight yarn like Red Heart. This is a free graph. Just go to kendrascrochetedcreations.com and clickon the picture todownload or print. There is no written pattern.

Batman graph
The Batman franchise has been around for decades, starting in the DC comics and ending up on the big screen, with series, animation, and video games liberally sprinkled throughout. The logo has drastically changed throughout the years starting out as a man in a cape and morphing into a bat...getting slimmer/clunkier back and forth as time goes on. This version is my personal favorite.
To crochet this full size afghan, I would use black for he background even though the graph shows white (it's just so hard on the eyes to stare at a black graph!), using 2 dc per graph square with an H hook. If you want to make a twin size, cut off the top and bottom 15 rows. For a throw, add 15 to top and bottom, add 40 rows to right and left sides, and sc with a J hook.
If you'd like me to make one for you, I can do that too. Please email me at kendrascrochet@gmail.com for payment details.
To get this graph yourself, email me with "Batman" in the subject line. Any questions should be in the body of your email.
If you make one, I'd love to see a finished photo! Email it to me, or tag #KendrasCrochetedCreations on social media.

Marauder's Map graph
A lot of adults as well as children love Harry Potter. I'm a big fan myself and have enjoyed sharing the books and movies both with my son when he came along.
The Marauder's Map was created by Messieurs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs who we later found out was Harry's father and his friends. It shows the location of every living person in the Hogwarts castle and which direction they are moving (if they are moving) and helped Harry out of a few scrapes from the time he got his hands on it, thanks to the Weasley twins.
I plan on using a J hook and 1 sc per graph square worked in straight rows for this to make a 4 x 5 ft throw. Maybe use a tan color for the background to simulate old parchment. If you would like a copy to make your own (graph only, no written instructions) email me at kendrascrochet@gmail.com with "solemnlyswear" in the subject line and I'll send you the pdf. If you have any questions, they can be in the body of the email. As always, you may sell your finished product, but not the pattern, nor can you claim the pattern as your own. If you post a photo to social media please tag #KendrasCrochetedCreations in the photo.

Free Minion graph
What is a minion? By definition, "a follower or underling of a powerful person, especially a servile or unimportant one," but that doesn't all apply to the minions of Gru (Despicable Me franchise). They are most certainly not unimportant! They do most of Gru's hands-on work for him, whether in the lab or cleaning his house. He is lost with out them!
They have masculine names like Kevin and Stuart, but no distinguishing gender characteristics. They can be tall (for a minion-almost 4 feet), short, skinny, heavy, one-eyed, or two-eyed. Or, like Bob (not pictured) extra short, extra heavy, and with 2 eyes of different colors (did you even notice that?)! Also, they have no ears so their glasses (and they all wear glasses!) are strapped on.
Most importantly, they are happiest when serving. I love that! I like to be helpful myself so appreciate that trait in others. Besides, it makes them even more adorable than their cuddly looking bodies themselves.
To make your own minion afghan, use an H hook and 2 dc per graph square. Your finished product should turn out around twin-sized. If you want smaller, use a J hook and 1 sc per graph square, but increase the number of rows on top and bottom by 15 and on each side by 5. If you want the full sized pdf, email me at kendrascrochet@gmail.com with "Minion Graph" in the subject line. Any questions can be put in the body of the email. If you make it, please tag #kendrascrochetedcreations on social media with the finished photo and email me a copy to be featured here or on my Facebook page!

Autism Awareness Month
Autism Awareness Month is April. According to the Autism Speaks website:
"Autism, or autism spectrum disorder, refers to a range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and nonverbal communication, as well as by unique strengths and differences. We now know that there is not one autism but many types, caused by different combinations of genetic and environmental influences."

I made this tote several years ago for my cousin who has a daughter diagnosed with Autism. I liked it so much I decided to write up the pattern and share it on Ravelry! It was the first pattern I ever wrote to sell and it had mistakes in it. It was too wordy. It didn't have pictures (it still doesn't, to tell the truth, but I added a graph!). I rewrote it to abbreviate the instructions and now I am sharing the link to buy the pattern here. For the month of April, if you buy the tote pattern, I'll include an Autism Awareness Scarf pattern for free! You have to put both items in your cart to get them both. As always, I am here to answer any questions about the pattern. Leave your thoughts below in the comments, and feel free to share using the buttons below, or share the link to this post.
I also make the finished items if you'd like to purchase one. Email me for pricing at kendrascrochet@gmail.com

Whitetails Unlimited

Because there is text on this graph, I'd suggest working it from the short side to avoid all the color changes in the lettering happening at the same time. If you like the deer only, simply omit the text! If you'd prefer a smaller throw (as is, working this graph with an H hook and 2 dc per graph square will give you an approximately twin sized afghan), then use a J hook and 1 sc per graph square, increasing the top and bottom by 5 rows and each side by 15.
If you'd like the pdf of Whitetails Unlimited for your favorite hunter (yourself included!) please email me at kendrascrochet@gmail.com with "Whitetails Unlimited" in the subject line. Any questions should be in the body of the email. If you'd like me to make it for you, please contact me for pricing.

Detroit Tigers

Old English D |
Tigers are majestic, graceful, and beautiful. Another great thing about the mascot, PAWS the Tiger, is his affinity for social events! He loves coming to office parties, community events, birthday parties (he can bring gifts from the Tigers!), weddings (he even has a tuxedo he'll wear-how cool is that?), special deliveries (I would dearly love to have a bouquet of flowers delivered to me by PAWS!), and school events. What a great guy!

Tiger face |
Both graphs should be worked up using an H hook and 2 dc per graph square. The tiger face is larger than my usual graphs, and more squared off, so I would work a couple rows before deciding if the size will be right for you. If you need help changing the size of your finished product, let me know and I'll do my best to help. If you want a 4 x 5 throw of the Old English D, add 15 rows to top and bottom and 5 rows to each side and work up using 1 sc per graph square with a J hook.

Washington Redskins
I always wondered who the Washington Redskins primary logo was modeled after, but after finding out one of the prominent Native American leaders at the time helped design the logo, I'm not surprised how well it looks! The "tucked" feathers were a result of the helmet decals not sticking properly on the "hanging" feathers.
This graph will create a twin mattress top sized afghan when using an H hook and 2 dc per graph square. To make a 4 x 5 throw (or maybe it's a 5 x 6...I honestly don't remember my dimensions!) use a J hook and 1 sc per square after adding 15 rows to each side and 5 to top and bottom. If you'd like to create your own afghan with the pdf, please email me at kendrascrochet@gmail.com with "Washington Redskins" in the subject line. Any questions should be in the body of the email. If you'd like me to make you one, I can do that too! Email me for pricing.
Have a fabulous day!
