The Buffalo Bills have an amazing logo in my opinion! I mean, it's a little obvious, they're in Buffalo and their logo is a buffalo...
But look at it! The strength of the leaping buffalo, the perception of motion, and of course the red white and blue colors are always attractive!
This graph was made to create a twin size afghan when using 2 dc per graph square and an H hook. I'd suggest working it from the short side to avoid too many color changes. I like to use a method called intarsia where I leave the unused color hanging and pick up the new. You can see photos of this method in this blog post. If you'd like the pdf of the graph you can go to kendrascrochetedcreations.com and save orprintright from your browser. If you'd like me to make you one, I can do that too. Minecraft creeper hooded blanket pattern
I was asked for a "Minecraft themed blanket" with a hood recently. I don't know Minecraft so I did a quick google search and found something called a "Creeper" which is apparently the main antagonist of the game. It looked almost camouflage with it's different shades of green pixelations, but I had copious amounts of green yarn recently donated to me so I chose 2 shades only and set to work. I decided to keep it more simple than the random colors shown and decided on a checkerboard pattern instead. Simply put, the checkerboard is 2 rows of alternating shades every 4 stitches, then change which shade goes where and repeat for 2 rows.
J hook
2 shades of green worsted weight yarn. I used Red Heart Paddy green, and Mary Maxim Starlette Grass Green
Chain 189 (or a multiple of 4 +1 to desired length)
1. Dc in 3rd ch from hook and next 2, changing to second shade of green. dc in next 4, changing back to first shade. Repeat pattern to the end of he chain, using 4 dc of each shade, alternately
2. Ch 3, dc in next 3, changing to other shade. dc in next 4, changing back. Repeat to the end.
3. Changing to second shade of green, ch3. dc in next 3.
Repeat pattern throughout blanket, changing shades every 2 rows so that the colors form a checkerboard pattern.
The hood, I had trouble with and would do differently if I had to do one again. As stated before, it was to be a hooded blanket and I have a certain way of doing hooded blankets and instead of taking time to think about a different way to do it, I spent my time thinking of a way to make the design come out right in my traditional method. I got out my trusty graph paper and outlined how many squares I needed for the hood (I use one third of the blanket width). then I graphed out the face. Well, this isnt going to work because I sew one edge to itself to make the top of the hood so I had to cut the graph paper in the middle of the face. Then I folded it up at a 45° angle and transferred it to the top of the outline. Mirror it for the other side and this is what you get:
My young teen recognized my finished product as Minecraft and seemed delighted with it so I called it good and sent it on to its new owner.

free Snoopy graph
Snoopy, Charlie Brown's pet beagle, is considered wildly imaginative and confident. He's hip, aloof, and a canine Master of Disguise (remember Joe Cool?). He's the pet we all wished we had. Now we can! In yarn form, of course. Use an H hook and 2 dc per graph square to get a twin sized blanket, add 5 rows to each side and 10 to top and bottom and work with a J hook and 1 sc per graph square to get a 5 x 6 ft throw. Work the back ground color in your favorite shades, or leave white. Email me at kendrascrochet@gmail.com for the pdf of this graph. Put "Dancing Snoopy graph" in the subject line of your email. Any questions should be in the body of the email. There are no written instructions for this graph. If you make it, please credit me with the design of the graph and tag #kendrascrochetedcreations on social media. If you'd like to sport your team pride in an afghan, use an H hook and 2 dc per graph square to get large throw. If you'd like a smaller, squarer one then add 15 rows to each side and 5 to the top and bottom while using 1 sc per graph square with a J hook. Email me for the pdf at kendrascrochet@gmail.com with "Detroit Red Wings" in the subject line. Any questions should be in the body of the email. If you'd like me to make it for you, I can do that too! Email me for pricing.

Miami Dolphins
A friend wanted this graph made, deciding on the alternate logo instead of he dolphin, "T.D." himself. I think he would be cute in a blanket, but love the lean of the letters and the colors of the team and how they work together to give the illusion of waves in the ocean.
This graph will create a twin mattress top sized afghan with using 2 dc with an H hook. If you'd rather have a 4 x 5 foot throw, add 5 rows to each side and add 15 rows to the top and bottom. Use a J hook and 1 sc per graph square.
I'd suggest using the intarsia method that I've briefly described here, starting at the short end. It cuts down on color changes and saves time and tangles.

Murray State University
This Murray State University graph was requested by a proud grandma of a student planning attendance in the fall. It's a bit larger than most of my graphs since she claims she crochets tightly and wanted it to not end up too small. If you'd like the pdf as well, please email me at kendrascrochet@gmail.com with "Murray State University" in the subject line. If you'd like any adjustments made to the graph (such as size), please put them in the body of your email. If you'd like me to make it for you, I can do that too. Sunday, February 25, 2018
NASCAR graph
What is it about stock car racing that gets the fans so hyped up? Is it the speed? The drama? The crashes? Or is just a great way to kill a Sunday afternoon and a beer? People who are not fans say the same thing: "mind-numbingly repetitive." People who aren't fans of basketball, baseball, and football say the same things about those sports.
True fans of any sport say the excitement, the adrenaline, and watching their favorite member do something spectacular is why they keep coming back for more.
Use an H sized crochet hook and 2 dc per graph square on this NASCAR fan graph to get a twin-mattress-top sized afghan throw to curl up under during the races with your favorite beverage and snacks. I'd suggest working it from the short side and using a different skein for each color change to keep the colors from showing through. If you are feeling a bit intimidated by the checks, leave them out! This afghan would look great with a solid top and bottom in either black or white.
To request the pdf of this graph, please email me at kendrascrochet@gmail.com with "NASCAR" in the subject line. San Francisco 49ers
The San Francisco 49ers is one of the few teams who haven't drastically changed their logo in decades. It started out in 1946 as this guy here:
Can you imagine trying to crochet this guy? Whoo! I like the one they chose and varied very slightly from 1968. Much clearer and easier to make. A simple Scarlett oval with intertwined white SF and black and gold outline.

Green Bay Packers version 2
I've had a lot of interest on my Green Bay Packers graph found here but one customer wated to try something different after she had tackled and conquered that pattern. This was the idea she had and this was how it turned out. Use an H hook and 2 dc per graph square to get a twin-mattress top sized throw (without border) or increase the rows by 15 on each side and 5 on top and bottom to crochet with a J hook order to get a 4 x 5 ft throw. If you'd like the pdf version on this graph, email me at kendrascrochet@gmail.com with "Green bay version 2" in the subject line. I'd suggest working this pattern from the short side because it has text in it and it will cut down on the color changes and save time and frustration! Let me know if you like it in the comments below, or you're welcome to use the share buttons below this post, but please credit me with the design.

Oakland Raiders
This NFL team hails from California and has a rather fiddly design in the middle (look at the detail in the face!) so I'd recommend starting from the long side when you crochet this one. Use a J hook and 1 sc per graph square to get a small throw, or use an H hook and 2 dc per graph square to get a twin size bedspread. Email me at kendrascrochet@gmail.com for the pdf with "Oakland Raiders" in the subject line and any questions in the body of the email. If you've made this graph please email me a photo and maybe I'll feature you on my Facebook page or show it off here! Alternatively, you can post it to Instagram and tag #kendrascrochetedcreations and I'll give you a shoutout in thanks.

Nebraska Cornhuskers
This college football team graph is very simple. Other versions I've seen wouldn't translate quite as well to graph squares so I chose just the Nebraska N to represent this team. Using 2 dc per graph square and an H hook, you should get an afghan the size of a twin mattress top, larger if you decide to put a dc border around it. To make a 4 x 5 ft throw, use a J hook, 1 sc per graph square, and increase the rows by 5 on each side and 15 on top and bottom. Leave your thoughts on the design below in the comments section, and please share using the buttons below, but remember to credit me with the design!
If you want a pdf of this graph, please email me at kendrascrochet@gmail.com for your copy, with "Nebraska Cornhuskers" in the subject line. Any questions should be put in the body of your email.
